Howard and his wife, Paula, share God’s dream of planting a life-giving church and impacting the Tampa Bay area for the kingdom of God. At the beginning of 2019, they took a major step of faith and left their jobs to pursue this dream. Howard and Paula are originally from Florida and have spent the past eight years in Birmingham, AL.

They served at Church of the Highlands and Howard graduated from Highlands College prior to Howard joining the staff of The Gathering Place Church as the Director of TGP School of Ministry and Campus Development.

In 2021, Howard and Paula returned to Florida to plant City of God Church. They are continually amazed at how God has used this vision of City of God Church to move people towards Christ, community, and their calling. They firmly believe that the best is yet to come for City of God Church and Tampa Bay! Howard and Paula have two incredible little girls, Lylah (5) and Olivia, called Via, (3).

They love life, time with family, and having lots of fun. They believe family is the culture of heaven and want everyone to feel connected, have fun, and experience family at City of God Church.
